The very basic rule in photography, as I have come to know has been thoroughly misinterpreted by a whole lot of people around me. Friends of mine who find it very irritating to find out my camera never focuses on the subject they want for the simple reason the 9 point focus of my camera is seldom at the center or auto position, but rather much closer to the intersection of the lines
I have so often come across people telling me to ONE THIRD of the area .... ya thats a good ratio never the doubt, but consider the intersection points of the two horizontal & two vertical lines producing the nine areas are really sweet points where our eyes love to focus effortlessly.
Having said that, aren't rules meant to be broken. :-D
Now, what are the some of your favourite photographs breaking this rule ??
